For the thirteenth time, the NIPPON VISIONS JURY AWARD will be given to one of the directors competing in the NIPPON VISIONS section. The winner will receive a free subtitling for their next film, sponsored by Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy (JVTA) in Tokyo.

All films in the section that were produced in Japan or by Japanese directors since 2022 and that will at least have their German premiere at the festival are eligible for the competition.
