The NIPPON VISIONS jury will present the NIPPON STORYTELLING AWARD for the third time. It goes to the best screenplay in the NIPPON VISIONS section. The jury prize is endowed with € 1,000 and is sponsored by the Storymaker Agency for Public Relations. 

All films that are at least 60 minutes long, have at least their German premiere at the festival, and were either produced in Japan or made by Japanese directors since 2025 are eligible for the competition.
