Our short film programs also cost 5 Euros:
You can watch A Stranger in Shanghai for free.
How does the 10-ticket package work?
You can buy a 10-ticket package in our shop: www.nipponconnectionshop.de
The 10-ticket package can only be paid with Paypal. The minimum age for buying a 10-ticket package is 18 years.
When ordering, you must already specify all 10 films / short film programs you would like to see.
Our ticketing team will then send you an e-mail with the respective codes to unlock the films no later than 1-2 days after receipt of your order.
As soon as the festival starts (June 9, 2020 00:00), you can select the desired film and enter the respective code when clicking on “Rent”. You will then not have to pay anything more for the film. Now you can watch the film for 24 hours as often as you like.
Please note: The 10-ticket package is only available within Germany.

Is access to the films barrier-free?
All our films have German or English subtitles. The films in the NIPPON KIDS section are available in German dubbing. The respective language and subtitle version is also noted in the film description on our homepage.
I already have a Vimeo account. Can I use the Nippon On Demand service with it?
Yes, you do not need to create an additional account.

The Vimeo app does not perform all functions on all devices. We recommend that you purchase the films via your browser. Afterwards, the rented title can be played on a SmartTV via the app under Library > Purchases.
Can I watch the movies in my country?
Some movies have a country restriction. You can check whether the film can be watched outside of Germany on the respective video-on-demand page of the film under “Availability”. The country release is also noted in the film description on our homepage.
Why does my film abort?
If you are using an unstable Internet connection, you may experience dropouts.
I have rented films, but playback does not start. What can I do?
Refresh the window and check whether playback is possible afterwards.
Check whether the payment has been made, or still needs to be authorized, or has failed.
Check if your browser is up-to-date and download the latest version if necessary. Then close the page and open it again.
If necessary, contact Vimeo via the Vimeo HelpCenter. As Vimeo On Demand is our streaming service, their customer advisors are the appropriate contacts for technical problems.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us (by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org). We will get back to you as soon as possible to help you solve the problem as best we can.
