When teenager Izumi finds a lost wallet while skipping school, her friends Kaoru and Hasumi persuade her to give it back to the owner, heartthrob Sato. But Sato has a secret. Reckless abandon and innocence give way to complex feelings, and secrets begin to unravel. In the end, the sky looks a heavenly pink for Izumi and Sato. But this comes at a price.

小林啓一
Born in Chiba in 1972, Keiichi KOBAYASHI studied at Meiji University. After directing numerous music videos, commercials and online series, his debut feature ABOUT THE PINK SKY won him the Japanese Eyes Best Picture Award at the Tokyo International Film Festival in 2011.
