Koji WAKAMATSU

United Red Army

実録・連合赤軍 ー あさま山荘への道程

Nippon Cinema   ª

Renegade master Kôji WAKAMATSU pulls no punches in this extraordinarily intense treatment of the history of Japan’s United Red Army. Culminating in self-destructive violence and the infamous Asama Sansô incident of 1972, WAKAMATSU gives a harrowing portrait of idealists gone awry – many of whom he knew personally.
